Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Material to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our quality control department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of materials used in our projects.
Conduct thorough inspections of materials to verify conformance with quality standards, performance specifications, and code requirements.
Perform daily field inspections and maintain accurate, detailed inspection records.
Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning processes to ensure material quality throughout project lifecycles.
Track quality assurance progress and provide regular reports to management.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve material-related issues and improve quality control processes.
Set project deadlines and manage time efficiently to meet inspection goals.
Provide on-the-job training to new employees, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
Assist in the preparation of documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to material inspection.
Qualifications
Technical Institute Diploma in a relevant Engineering field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Materials Science)
Proven experience in material inspection and quality control
Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and industry standards
Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience with punch lists, testing, and commissioning procedures
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in maintaining detailed inspection records and preparing reports
Knowledge of material properties and their applications in various industries
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently
Familiarity with relevant local and international codes and standards
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data analysis
Willingness to work in field conditions and travel to various project sites as needed
Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates
