Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Engineer - Water to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will lead and oversee complex water infrastructure projects, driving sustainable solutions for our clients and the communities we serve.
Spearhead the design and implementation of large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Ensure project quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgets
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated water management solutions
Conduct advanced hydraulic modeling and analysis for complex water systems
Oversee environmental impact assessments for water-related projects
Stay current with industry trends and innovative technologies in water engineering
Contribute to business development efforts and proposal writing
Ensure compliance with local and international water regulations and standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering,
Minimum 12 years of experience with at least 5 years in the UAE or other GCC countries.
Ability to lead a team of engineers to deliver medium to large-sized projects.
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for the team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to developing the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
