Job Summary

AECOM has an opportunity for a Radio Frequency (RF) / Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Engineer in our Annapolis, MD location!

Provide technical and program management support to the Defense Spectrum Organization/Joint Spectrum Center (DSO/JSC) in support of DoD efforts to maintain and manage the E3 and Spectrum Supportability (SS) Programs. Specific efforts will be provided under the DSO Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Services contract for E3 engineering support. Includes DoD E3 program management; review, draft, and update E3 and SS standards, directives, instructions, and manuals; review acquisition documents for adequacy of DoD E3 and SS policy and to ensure compliance with current standards and practices;draft reports on program activities; participate in program reviews and integrated product team meetings.

Minimum Requirements

BS in Engineering or related science field with 0-2 years of job-related experience. Familiarity with DoD Instructions 4650.01 and 3222.03, MIL-STD-461, 464, MIL-HDBK-235, 237, and other E3 standards, the DoD 5000 acquisition and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes, E3/SS policy and compliance instructions and standards. Experienced user of Microsoft Office.

Secret Security Clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) work experience with DoD Service(s), Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO), and/or Joint Spectrum Center (JSC), Work Experience Field: Spectrum Management/Supportability, E3, EMC, EMI, Communications, Defense Acquisition System, Spectrum Certification, and Frequency Management. Database and SharePoint skills a plus.
