Job Description
AECOM is looking for a Procurement Manager to provide support to the AECOM Transportation Improvement Act (TIA) Team working for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). This position will actively contribute to the management of all contracts within the TIA Program. This position is a 24 hour weekly part time position.
The position is located in Georgia and follows a hybrid work model. It combines remote work with occassional in-person meetings at the Georgia Department of Transportation's General Office.
This position affords the ideal candidate the following:
Manage the contracts on a long term GDOT Program, which AECOM has managed for 10+ years and was recently renewed for an additional 5 years.
Work within a small tight knit and cohesive team, which works as an extension of GDOT staff.
Work on a high value program that strives to innovate program management, while remaining transparent to the citizens that voted to enact TIA.
As a Procurement Manager on the TIA team working directly with GDOT, you will be responsible for managing the creation, routing, and approval of contracts on the TIA Program. This includes:
Preparing solicitation advertisements and posting to appropriate advertisement locations
Managing selection process for solicitations
Drafting and executing master contract agreements with design consultants
Negotiating, drafting, and executing task orders
Drafting and routing local government agreements for execution
Requesting Purchase Orders (POs) for Right-of-Way Acquisition
Drafting and executing supplemental agreements
Drafting and executing utility agreements
Drafting and executing railroad agreements
Drafting and executing interagency agreements
Provide guidance on various contract and procurement matters
Provide input on various project issues based on past knowledge of GDOT policies and procedures
Manage and track status of all active procurement tasks and provide quarterly reports
Qualifications
Minimum:
BA/BA in business, engineering, contracts, law or related field
Six years of contract and procurement management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred:
Experience with GDOT policies, contract administration processes and regulations
Experience with Oracle Unifier
Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications
Effective communication both written and verbal.
Additional Information
Relocation is not an option for this position
Visa support is not an option for this position
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $85,000.00 - $140,000.00.
