AECOM Entry Level Water Resources Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

AECOM is looking for an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources group in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will provide water resource related engineering analysis and design, as well as assistance in the data collection and analysis, field programs and report writing. Activities will include hydrologic/hydraulic, hydrodynamic and water quality modeling, design, assessment, and evaluation; environment water quality related permit submittal; and field sampling and field investigation. GIS and CADD skills, knowledge of water quantity and quality modeling, and design experiences are desirable. The ideal candidate will work productively in a collaborative team-environment and demonstrate growth potential, along with the desire to learn.
Builds analytic and design skills.
Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
- BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software experience (ie. HEC-RAS)
EIT/EI and CFM strongly preferred
Strong technical writing skills
Excellent communication skills
Possesses strong leadership skills
Task and time management skills
