Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a detail-oriented Program Cost Analyst to work on an exciting multi-year program in our Atlanta, GA office area. The program focuses on various capital improvement projects, such as safety and security upgrades, technology enhancements, renovations, and new construction. This team aims to deliver quality, and value in facilities, prioritizing sustainable innovations and learning principles to promote excellence.
Job Summary
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Assists the Director in planning and budgeting for specific portfolios/sub-programs, and individual projects
Effectively supports program and project cost forecasting, budgeting, and cost control functions for a program consisting of multiple projects
Developing and controlling budgets, financial commitments, cash flows and expenditure forecasts
Ensure that planned available funding is aligned with commitments, work authorizations and forecasted expenditures
Identifies and investigates cost variances impacting project/program budgets and milestones
Assembles program and project cost data for monthly reporting to the Client, and other custom reports as required
Monitor, analyze and report changes in budget and cost forecasts impacting program and/or project objectives
Utilize Kahua and other tools for program cost control monitoring against established budgets
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in business administration, architecture, architecture, or construction management +6 years of project cost analysis experience or demonstrated equivalency of knowledge and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience of progressive Construction Project Management experience, which includes a minimum of 4 years of project cost analysis and cost control
Understanding of construction means, methods, and processes
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office products - Project, Word, Access, and Excel
Experience using Kahua PMIS or equivalent
Experience using Munis Financial Systems or equivalent
Proficient in reviewing and analyzing data and reports in Kahua and Munis Financial systems
Experience controlling budgets, financial commitments, cash flows, and cost-related data on complex programs

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $115,000.00 - $120,000.00.
