Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a motivated, highly talented individual for a Digital Consultant to be based out of our Baltimore, MD office. The appropriately qualified applicant will support the implementation of digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment of digital strategies with organizational objectives.

  • Coordinate digital projects and teams, including proof of concept (POC) development.

  • Ensure adherence to digital standards and processes throughout project lifecycles.

  • Foster collaboration and coordination among interdisciplinary teams.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation efforts.

  • Support with evaluation and selection of appropriate digital tools and technologies for project needs.

  • Support with compilation and development of digital standards, execution plans, and other relevant documentation.

  • Support with assessment of existing data architecture and system functionality for optimization.

  • Conduct workshops and engagements to gather and understand client requirements.

  • Support with developing digital strategies, frameworks, and change management plans.

  • Monitor POC executions for alignment with strategy and standards.

  • Support with development and implementation of the Common Data Environment (CDE) framework.

  • Assists on other digital and IT activities that assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education.

  • Experience in digital transformation initiatives across industries.

  • Experience in digital modelling, coordination, and management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Training in digital transformation methodologies and technologies.

  • Certification or training in project management methodologies.

  • Knowledge of database management and data governance principles.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00.
