With the continued growth of our Water Team who are involved in high profile infrastructure projects in the UK, Ireland and overseas we are currently looking to appoint an
Engineer to work within our multidisciplinary Water Business Line in
The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting into the delivery of infrastructure projects for our clients in Northern Ireland and Ireland, and will take the role of design team member on large or complex projects, and/or the role of designer on programmes of smaller projects, where appropriate. You will also be responsible for mentoring Junior Engineers, Technicians and Apprentices to promote their technical and professional development.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join one of United Kingdom and Ireland’s largest water consultancies.
To be successful in this role we would like to hear from candidates with the following;
Experience in the production of wastewater/water infrastructure and non-infrastructure feasibility/appraisal studies, options appraisal and engineering calculations.
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team to complete technical project delivery delegating tasks and technical mentoring of junior team members.
Experience in the production of outline and detailed civil engineering designs for infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes directly for Contractors and Water Companies.
Experience in maintaining internal project management systems e.g. health and safety, programming, and financial governance systems.
Experience with the NEC/FIDIC suite of contracts.
Experience in a role which involved client management responsibilities.
Structural design experience would also be desirable
- The ideal candidate will have broad experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects from feasibility through to design and delivery.
Engaged within your industry, holding or approaching Chartered Civil Engineer status.
Advanced degree in civil or structural engineering or other construction related qualifications.
