Job Description

  • Proficiently execute BIM tasks across Mechanical Building Services disciplines, encompassing HVAC, Wet Services, Process, and Fire.

  • Demonstrate expertise in Revit modelling within the aforementioned Mechanical Building Services.

  • Ability to conduct self-checks, including clash avoidance with other services.

  • Operate in the Autodesk collaboration platforms such as BIM360 or ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud)

  • Eagerness to enhance skills and participate / contribute to training and upskilling sessions.

  • Collaborate with the BIM Manager to develop content and ensure adherence to standards.

  • Conduct thorough Level 3 QA/QC checks on discipline models.

  • Work autonomously, effectively manage time, and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Interpret and comprehend construction documents proficiently.

  • Demonstrate familiarity with design parameters specific to discipline requirements.

  • Uphold AECOM's standard modelling practices and procedures.

  • Maintain and follow AECOM and project-specific filing systems.

  • Adhere strictly to the project BIM Execution Plan, including defined standards.

  • Create BIM content aligned with modelling standards.

  • Take full ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.

  • Ensure precision and excellence in discipline models.

  • Develop components of the Information Model for specific tasks.

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Foster collaboration and communication with other disciplines on coordination matters and shared model development.

  • Contribute actively to both single and multidisciplinary projects as part of a team.

  • Maintain awareness of safety and quality standards compliance, integrating them into the design process.

  • Continuously update skills and knowledge to remain current with the latest innovations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Building services utilizing Revit, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Preferred candidates will have a certification or qualification in Mechanical built environment studies.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a BIM environment.

  • Preferred certification in Revit.

  • General understanding of integrated architectural and engineering practices.
