Job Description

AECOM is delivering some of Australia’s most critical water infrastructure projects. With major investment in dam infrastructure and long-term partnerships with Dam owners nationwide, we offer an unparalleled opportunity to work on complex and high-impact projects across the country.

As part of our industry leading Dams team, you’ll contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.

With AECOM’s flexibility, base yourself in either our Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth or Melbourne offices.

What a day in this role could involve:

  • Utilise your dams expertise, leadership, coordination and communication skills to successfully engage and guide project delivery teams, whilst working with closely with end clients and contractors.

  • You will be responsible for overall design delivery including having the ultimate carriage on any design project decisions.

  • Ensure dams projects are delivered within the constraints of quality, time and budget.

  • Work collaboratively with leaders across our Australian and New Zealand team for delivery of the projects, as well as assisting with project resourcing and business initiatives.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience.

  • Proficiency in dams engineering and design.

  • Proven track record in the successful delivery of large projects on time, within budget and outstanding quality.

  • Excellent communication skills and high quality technical and non-technical report writing

  • Client relationship / management skills and experience.
