Job Description
We are seeking an analytical and tech-savvy Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Business Services (GBS) finance team. The primary responsibilities are to support the development and achievement of the organization’s goals by delivering accurate, insightful, and timely financial analysis and business partnering. This role focuses on building and maintaining reporting solutions for workforce-related cost allocation across business units, regions, and service functions, using Power BI and advanced data modelling. You will be a key finance partner in driving transparency, optimizing service delivery performance, and supporting data-driven decisions through powerful visualizations, financial modelling, and operational metrics tracking.
Responsibilities & Duties
Service Delivery & Financial Performance
Prepare and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making.
Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Perform quarterly forecasting and monthly cost variance analysis.
Perform the month-end close process for GBS cost centres.
Analyse financial statement data and identify performance trends or anomalies.
Develop and track business cases for new strategic initiatives or investments.
Communicate monthly results vs. targets to finance leadership and business partners.
Provide functional support, mentorship, or training to junior analysts where required.
Cost Allocation & Reporting (GBS Focus)
Allocate workforce-related costs to internal clients across regions, business units, and service lines.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that track and visualize cost allocations, headcount, and service delivery performance.
Automate data refreshes and reporting processes to minimize manual work and improve accuracy.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with service delivery leads and other teams to ensure data alignment.
Business partner to project teams, tracking results and value realization of large projects.
Deliver clear and concise reports to finance stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
6+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably within a GBS, SSC, or multinational environment.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle and IBM Cognos preferred).
Exposure to Power BI type reporting and dashboard tools.
Some international travel may be required (infrequently).

Technical Skills
Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, data modelling, dashboard design).
High proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modelling).
Proficiency in PowerPoint for presentation of financial results and recommendations.
Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and cost allocation methodologies.
Soft Skills & Mindset
Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-finance stakeholders.
Collaborative and service-oriented mindset with the ability to work across teams.
Strong time management and organizational skills; comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
