Requirements:

Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology / economics or any other related field

  • Human Resources Inspector Certificate recognized by Romanian Labor Ministry (related to the Labor Law in Romania)

  • Advanced speaking & writing English

  • People-oriented

  • Well-structured approach of tasks with attention to details

  • Increased attention to confidential information and how it is sent / stored

  • A team player with excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously whilst paying attention to detail to ensure high accuracy levels.

  • Possesses exceptional customer care and communication skills to communicate with all levels of employees including the leadership team

  • Pro-active and helpful, with a can-do attitude, along with a friendly, positive and professional approach

  • Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service

  • An intuitive, analytical, and pro-active approach to day-to-day work practices

  • Ability to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities

  • A keen eye for detail and ability to demonstrate initiative.

  • Experience of working to, and consistently meeting challenging deadlines

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills with a confidence to work with numbers and data

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience with Workday / other similar software

Responsibilities:

  • General scope of the role: Overall HR administration tasks for AECOM Enterprise Capabilities – Romania.

  • Prepares end-to-end employment documents (from hiring to termination).

  • Creates and updates electronical employment files.

  • Creates disciplinary action documents, when needed.

  • Registers all labor contracts, addendums, assignments in Revisal according to the Romanian Labor law.

  • Reports labor contracts of the foreign employees to the Romanian Immigration Authorities

  • Makes sure the information related to employees is up to date in the company’s personnel administration tool (Workday).

  • Checks and approves any identity documents changes in the company’s personnel administration tool (Workday).

  • Manages all types of leaves in the company’s personnel administration tool (Workday).

  • Extract reports from the company’s personnel administration tool (Workday), when needed.

  • Operates terminations in the company’s personnel administration tool (Workday).

  • Maintains an internal excel with information about all employees and their contracts.

  • Handles the disciplinary action process in the company’s personnel administration tool (Workday).

  • Timely solves HR tickets opened by employees in the HR ticketing platform.

  • Receives and process approved travel requests.

  • Prepares travel documents for employees in assignment, according to the Romanian legislation.

  • Activates travel insurance for employees in assignment, according to the type of activity they will have.

  • Maintains relationships with Romanian Authorities related to the Labor domain – Unemployment Agency Bucharest, Territorial Labor Inspectorate Bucharest, The General Inspectorate for Immigration, etc.

  • Constantly learns about changes in Romanian Labor Legislation.

  • Maintains relationship with contractors and interacts with them monthly (for bills, updates on employees registered, etc.).

  • Collaborates with the provider of electronical signatures.

  • Maintains a positive relationship with employees and managers.

  • Collaborates with the international People Services Team.

  • Periodically prepares reports related to People Services Activity.

  • Makes sure that HR policies and procedures are well known and respected in the company.
