Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GDPR & Data Privacy Compliance Analyst with expert knowledge of GDPR and thorough understanding of global data privacy regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data privacy policies, developing a robust data privacy framework for our Global Business Services (GBS) , implementing compliance strategies and conducting audits to ensure adherence to regulations. This role requires a proactive individual who can assess and identify risks, create and own action plans, and make recommendations to mitigate those risks. The Senior GDPR & Data Privacy Compliance Analyst will engage with staff at all levels of the organization to assess needs and ensure conformance with internal and external standards of practice to drive compliance and influence outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of GDPR and has a thorough understanding of global data privacy regulations.
Training: Develop and deliver training programs on data privacy to ensure all staff are knowledgeable and compliant.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to data privacy policies and regulations, conducting regular self -audits to verify compliance.
Framework Development: Create and implement a data privacy framework tailored to our GBS operations.
Risk Assessment: Assess and identify potential data privacy risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.
Action Plans: Create, own, and ensure the completion of action plans to address identified risks.
Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate data privacy risks.
Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, influencing outcomes to drive data privacy compliance.
Influence: Effectively influence outcomes to ensure the organization mitigates any data privacy risks.
Qualifications: Preferably hold a data privacy qualification.
Qualifications
Proven experience in data privacy, with expert knowledge of GDPR.
Understanding of global data privacy regulations.
Strong ability to develop and deliver training programs.
Experience in conducting self-audit and ensuring compliance with data privacy policies.
Ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
Holds or is working towards a recognized data privacy qualification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
