Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Invoice Reviewer to join our Program and Project Management Team. Reporting to the Invoicing Lead, you will be reviewing and verifying project-related invoices and expense reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual terms and project budgets.

This is a 12-month temporary contract position with the potential for extension, based at a client site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with the company financial and cornerstone systems and processes.

  • Collaborating with project teams, vendors, and finance departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the invoice review process.

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of invoice reviews, approvals, and payments for audit and reporting purposes

  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms

  • Ensure all billed items are supported by appropriate documentation and approvals

  • Identify discrepancies and work with project managers and contractors to resolve issues

  • Maintain accurate records of all reviewed invoices and related documentation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience QuickBooks and NetSuite, with experience in managing financial data, contracts, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures

  • 8 years of experience in invoice review, preferably in the construction industry

  • Certification in Construction Management or related field

  • Experience with Construction invoice management platforms

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, billing procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information

Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00.
