Job Description

The Opportunities

AECOM’s multidisciplinary team in Cairns is looking for expressions of interest to support the delivery of a multi-year design and construction contract. There are fixed term and timesheet contractor options available with contracts ranging from 18-24 months in duration.

We are seeking the following civil construction specialists:

  • Site Inspectors – Pipelines / Civil / Structural / Building Works

  • Senior Construction / Project Engineers – Civil, Water Intakes and Pipeline Works

Qualifications

Due to the nature of the work, it would be ideal for suitable candidates to hold some of the following:

  • Relevant Qualifications.

  • Experience in project delivery & site construction.

  • Proven project experience in civil infrastructure, construction, building works or water infrastructure and ability to be based in Cairns.

  • Confident communication technique with an ability to coordinate and operate across complex stakeholder groups.

  • An excellent and proven understanding of Australian Standards and Policies.

  • Ability to work alongside various stakeholders to achieve optimal project results on time and on budget.
