The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provide support to Geotechnical group for drilling investigations including borehole log preparation, data management, and report preparation.
Support site investigation sampling and logging.
Construction monitoring on projects including earthworks, excavations, subgrade inspections, shallow foundation bearing inspections (assistance in the AECOM materials testing laboratory, including material testing for field density).
Preparation of field inspection reports and assisting intermediate and senior engineer with preparation of geotechnical reports.
Travel within Canada.
Preparation of health and safety plans, safe work plans, etc.
AA/AS (US) + 1 year of relevant experience or Diploma/Certification (Canada) + 1 year of relevant experience
Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Valid Driver’s license
