This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Civil and Geotechnical engineering on a wide variety of projects including commercial, waste management industrial, mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure.
Geotechnical drilling including utility locates and soil sampling and logging.
Support site resident engineering services.
Construction monitoring on projects including earthworks, excavations, subgrade inspections, shallow foundation bearing inspections, pile installation monitoring (Assistance in the AECOM materials testing laboratory, including material testing for field density, concrete, and asphalt testing.
Preparation of field inspection reports and assisting intermediate and senior engineer with preparation of geotechnical reports.
Travel within Canada.
Preparation of health and safety plans, safe work plans, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
New graduate Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Valid drivers license
