Job Description

  • Builds analytic and design skills.

  • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.

  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

  • Apply Indian (IS) and international design codes and standards in structural design.

  • Perform design and analysis of concrete and steel structures, exploring multiple design options considering various materials, configurations, and design philosophies.

  • Review multidisciplinary inputs and integrate them effectively into structural designs.

  • Interpret geotechnical and topographical survey reports to derive essential design parameters.

  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure clash-free and code-compliant designs.

  • Develop automation tools using Excel macros to improve design efficiency.

  • Learn and implement computational design tools including Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, and Python to reduce repetitive work and enhance productivity.

  • Assist in the design, coordination, planning, and execution of engineering projects.

  • Engage with senior engineers to understand and execute project requirements.

  • Review structural drawings prepared by modelers and conduct QA/QC checks in accordance with company standards.

  • Prepare design calculations, Reports, conceptual sketches, technical schemes, and memos.

  • Support senior engineers in delivering high-quality project outcomes.

  • Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and engineering reports.

  • Effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, client representatives, and contractors.
