Job Description
AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Airport Construction - Safety, Health & Environment Sr Manager with airport safety experience for an ongoing airport construction project in Chicago, IL.
Job Responsibilities:
Assists the ES&H Director in the formulation and administration of the company's environmental safety and health policies and programs for the home office and field operations.
Assists in the supervision of all ES&H activities and in the selection of related facilities/project personnel.
Assists in the planning and conducting of training for project personnel and is responsible for ES&H in the areas of policy, procedures, inspection, regulatory compliance and incident investigation.
May represent the Company on technical and professional committees and assists in local, State, Federal and industrial standards, codes or regulatory formation.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
BA/BS + 10 years of relevant safety, health and/or environment construction experience, including including 2 years of leadership or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Ability to travel to other facilities to perform inventory duties using a AECOM provided Vehicle.
For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
CSP certification a plus
15+ years of relevant safety, health and/or environment construction experience and 4+ years of leadership experience a plus
Prior experience on large infrastructure construction projects.
5+ years airport construction safety preferred
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).

This position is not hybrid nor remote.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $126,505.00 - $234,034.00.
