Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly talented Marketing Proposal Specialist IV to join our Buildings + Places team and work in collaboration with the West Region business development and operations team on pursuits, including partnering in the preparation of formal and informal client solicitations, including expressions of interest (EOI), requests for qualifications (RFQ), requests for proposals (RFP), and pre-qualification efforts.
This will be a hybrid position including a combination of both remote and in-office, that can be based in, but not limited to: Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Leads large/complex proposals that may involve multiple business lines and regions, and supports from capture through to interview stage, as required.
May facilitate workshops/sessions to support the capture manager in development of the win strategy,
Able to serve as coach for interview, Q&A and preparing team.
Facilitates color reviews (Pink and Red team), and applies lessons learned to add value to proposal and win plan. Serves as color team and/or compliance reviewer on other proposals.
May co-present sections of Readiness Reviews during capture stage.
Participates actively in Go/No-Go decisions by providing recommendations, may facilitate greenlight analyses as part of advanced capture planning and positioning activities, supports compliance with delegation of authority guidelines and legal
Analyzes internal debriefs and client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement and identifies trends, lesson learned or future best practices across clients or markets.
May serve as subject matter expert for specific client/portfolio or sector. Actively supports marketing or pursuit strategy, content development related to clients/markets, in collaboration with marketing communications, campaigns, client account managers (CAMs) and business lines, as necessary.
May contribute to the development and implementation/presentation of internal training content, and lead special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity with key client and strategic pursuits in support of winning work, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
A developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation strategy development and compliance, and writing and production.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field
Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry, including AECOM’s projects, people, credentials, and competitors is highly preferred
A detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools.
A strong working knowledge of InDesign as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
An understanding of CRM Salesforce experience is a plus.
Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to full completion.
Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
Experience demonstrating leadership qualities.

Excellent writing skills, with an aptitude and attention to detail.
Proven organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule, and lead deliverable efforts by others; and the proven ability to manage documents.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00.
