Job Description
We are seeking a talented and innovative Associate - Landscape Architect to join our dynamic Urbanism + Planning studio in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our landscape architecture practice, you will contribute to the design and execution of diverse projects that shape the urban and natural environments of the region.
Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee landscape design concepts for a variety of projects, including urban parks, residential communities, and commercial developments
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape elements with architectural and engineering designs
Conduct site analyses and prepare detailed site plans, planting plans, and construction documents
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of landscape projects
Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively
Stay updated on sustainable design practices and incorporate them into landscape projects
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the landscape architecture department
Ensure compliance with local regulations and design standards in the UAE
Utilize advanced design software to create visually compelling and technically accurate landscape plans
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in landscape architecture
Professional certification such as ASLA or equivalent international recognition
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of successful landscape design projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software
Working knowledge of ArcGIS, Revit, or other relevant design tools
Excellent understanding of sustainable design practices and their application in arid climates
Familiarity with local flora, environmental conditions, and design regulations in the UAE
Proven project management skills, including budget control and timeline management
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus
