Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Landscape Inspector specializing in Hardscape to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of hardscape installations in various landscape projects throughout the project.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of hardscape elements, including pavers, retaining walls, and outdoor structures

  • Verify that hardscape installations comply with project specifications, local building codes, and industry standards

  • Assess the quality of materials used and workmanship in hardscape construction

  • Identify and document any deficiencies or non-conformities in hardscape installations

  • Collaborate with contractors, landscape architects, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure project success

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all inspections

  • Monitor project timelines and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient completion of inspections

  • Stay updated on the latest hardscape materials, techniques, and local regulations

  • Provide recommendations for improvements in hardscape design and installation processes

  • Ensure that hardscape installations are suitable for Dubai's climate conditions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related experience.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hardscape construction or inspection

  • Minimum 10 years experience all together

  • In-depth knowledge of hardscape materials, installation techniques, and industry standards

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting landscape plans and blueprints

  • Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Familiarity with the impact of local climate conditions on hardscape materials and construction
