Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Resident Engineer - Infrastructure to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage and coordinate all aspects of infrastructure projects, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations
Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems that arise during project execution
Prepare and review technical reports, project documentation, and engineering drawings
Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
Implement and maintain quality control and assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations on project sites
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members
Stay updated on industry trends, innovative construction methodologies, and local building codes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
Minimum15 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on managing large-scale projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management software
Strong knowledge of infrastructure development, construction methodologies, and quality control processes
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE
Excellent project management skills, including budget and schedule management
Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong technical report writing and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for project needs
