Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Planning - EOT, Claims and Cost and Infrastructure to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex infrastructure projects, managing Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and ensuring cost-effective project delivery.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and potential delays

  • Analyze and prepare EOT claims, ensuring thorough documentation and justification

  • Manage project costs, including budget preparation, cost tracking, and forecasting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project planning and execution

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for infrastructure projects

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, costs, and schedule variances

  • Negotiate with stakeholders to resolve disputes related to time extensions and claims

  • Implement and maintain project control systems to monitor performance metrics

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on planning and cost management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects

  • Proven track record in managing EOT claims and cost control for large-scale projects

  • Proficiency in project management software, cost estimation tools, and scheduling software

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, claim procedures, and dispute resolution

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

  • Experience working in the Middle East construction industry is a plus
