Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer specializing in Bridges and Underpasses to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our site team, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of complex bridge and underpass projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

  • Develop and execute structural designs for bridges and underpasses

  • Perform complex structural analysis and calculations for various bridge and underpass components

  • Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports for bridge and underpass projects

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural elements with other project components

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures for inspections and test plans

  • Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any structural concerns

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in bridge and underpass engineering

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members

  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed within budget and schedule constraints

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridges and underpasses

  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software

  • Strong understanding of international bridge design codes and standards

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

  • Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in the UAE

  • Knowledge of seismic design principles for bridges and underpasses

  • RTA Pre-Approval is highly desirable

  • Professional engineering license or equivalent certification is a plus
