Job Description
As a result of significant project pipeline, AECOM’s 'Resources and Industrial' (R&I) team in our Brisbane office have created a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to support the successful delivery of a range of Mining and Industrial projects across the region.
Working as part of a dynamic, Tier 1 consulting environment, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of large multidisciplinary projects within the Mining, Industrial and Transport sectors.
Our team of industry experts and network of technical specialists will support the development of your technical and project management capabilities, giving you the opportunity to work across all project phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution.
Main Responsibilities
Work with our Tier 1 clients across our mining, industrial and heavy industry projects providing high-quality electrical design solutions from concept through to commissioning.
Create technical reports, project documentation and design solutions under the guidance of Senior Engineers within the team
Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, civil etc) to coordinate electrical aspects of projects ensuring timelines, cost and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
You are a passionate, professional Electrical Engineer with proven excellence in client service delivery.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will have:
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with RPEQ (or working towards)
Ideally, 4 + years of experience as an Electrical Engineer for a consultancy or client, with extensive design experience in heavy industry / mining projects.
Prior project experience in electrical design, construction and commissioning, across LV/HV power distribution and control, LV motor control and control systems (including PLCs and SCADA).
Working knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations across the mining and heavy industry field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
