AECOM Ecology Intern in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an Ecology Intern based in Greenwood Village, CO during Summer 2020. AECOM is searching for candidates that are resourceful, curious, results-oriented, and decisive. The responsibilities of this internship include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with field work (e.g., wildlife surveys, wetland delineations);

  • Collect and enter data, and apply technical principles and theories to assist in interpreting and analyzing data;

  • Compare investigation findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to assess compliance, draft reports documenting results and presenting findings; and

  • Miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis.

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Ecology or related field

  • Must have completed one year of study in applicable program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software

  • GIS skills
