The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Prepares drawings using computer aided design software including Revit and AutoCAD
Assists with the design of building mechanical systems including airside, hydronics, and plumbing
Works with and takes direction from mechanical engineering staff
Performs basic mechanical design calculations and standard computations such as heating/cooling loads, pipe, duct and equipment sizing.
Visits client sites for accurate existing conditions gathering
Interact and work with diverse set of clients and subcontractors
BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering – Mechanical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
Proficient in the use of drafting software including Revit and AutoCAD
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Must be comfortable working in a high energy environment with frequent swift deadlines
Passed fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT/FE) or Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred, not required
0-2 years of related experience
Experience in the construction industry
