We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Engineer specializing in Long Span Bridges to join our team in Hong Kong, Hong Kong. As a key member of our engineering department, you will contribute to the design and project management of cutting-edge bridge structures for international projects.
Job Description
Lead the design and analysis of long span bridge structures, utilizing advanced engineering principles and software tools
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate project deliverables and ensure seamless integration of bridge designs with other infrastructure components
Prepare comprehensive study reports, design reports, and technical notes to support project development and decision-making processes
Assist project managers in overseeing specific projects, including client liaison and stakeholder management
Participate in the development of innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges in bridge design and construction
Ensure compliance with international bridge design codes, standards, and best practices
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies within the organization
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the design, construction, or project coordination of civil infrastructure projects
Proven experience in bridge engineering, with skills in long span bridge engineering being a distinct advantage
Chartered Engineer status with HKIE or equivalent professional certification
Proficiency in bridge design software such as SAP2000 and MIDAS
In-depth knowledge of international bridge design codes and standards
Experience with project management tools and methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
Fluency in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in Chinese is an advantage
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to dynamic project requirements
Willingness to travel for international projects as needed
Candidates with more experience will be considered as a Senior Engineer or above
