AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Environmental Planner for employment in the Honolulu, HI office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provide researching and technical writing for a variety of environmental regulatory documents such as environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, and other compliance documents
Assist on a variety of environmental studies for infrastructure projects including power, water, transportation, and development-related projects
Prepare materials and graphics in support of environmental, planning, landscape architecture, and community outreach projects
Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Sciences or related degree (e.g., environmental studies, geography, planning, etc.)
Strong analytical skills and ability to assess environmental impacts with increasing responsibilities
Strong research abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must possess a valid driver's license
Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Masters degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Sciences or related degree (e.g., environmental studies, geography, planning, etc.)
Familiarity with GIS software
Familiarity with Microsoft Project
