Job Summary

As a member of AECOM Construction Service’s marketing team, you will need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where clear and precise communication is critical to the continued growth of the business. As a Graphic Designer, you will be on the front lines of this endeavor, helping to secure the new business projects that make up the lifeblood of our company. You should be a highly creative and talented design professional who can juggle many different projects simultaneously while also being able to execute meticulously in a deadline driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

Experienced Creative Suite Specialist, highly skilled in building complex page layouts, master pages, style sheets, grids, including charts/graphs and infographics. Complete knowledge of typography and color. Responsibilities include designing sophisticated proposals and presentation packages including animation with PowerPoint and Keynote; creating supporting infographics as well as applying creative content, using brand standards to multiple deliverables. Must be comfortable in working on multiple projects at any stage in their development and/or complete revisions of existing materials.

  • Conceives ideas, concepts and campaigns to enhance visually all marketing media

  • Image specialist: photo retouching, photo collage, special effects, color correction, type effects and illustration

  • Design, layout, photo retouching and illustration of a wild range of infographics for brochures, ads, posters, covers, proposals, presentations, boards, banners, invitations, etc.

  • Create images that identify a product or convey a message

  • Format text and images in layouts to transform data and copy into visual concepts

  • Build high profile Powerpoint and Keynote presentations with animation

  • Familiar with document pre-flighting and collection of all assets for digital or offset printers

  • Generate job tickets to printers and vendors to obtain cost estimates for client approvals

  • Upload high resolution pdfs files to printers and vendors servers for production and creates pdfs for broadcast via email

  • Monitors and tracks projects to ensure proper and timely completion

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BFA) Graphic Arts, or a related course of study

  • Project or past internship experience in the Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; Keynote and the full MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong support skills including researching and developing design solution rationales, and project management/archiving. Strong visual sense with ability to develop design concept from scratch.

  • Ability to adhere to tight and demanding deadlines as well as quick turn around.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of personalities and levels of management with a collaborative attitude.
