AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Estimator for employment in the Kansas City, MO office. As the Entry level Estimator you will get to work on a range of Sports Projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provides estimates for each project phase: conceptual, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
Prepare detailed cost estimates
Prepares or assists in the preparation of order-of-magnitude, preliminary, definitive, change orders and check estimates
Prepares material, equipment, and labor take-offs.
Performs cost comparison analyses between in-house estimates and contractor estimates.
Works with Project Managers and other disciplines to evaluate appropriateness of budgets.
Prepares project and discipline estimate summaries Basis of Estimate.
Establishes and maintains cost databases and product line specific parametric analysis tools.
Leads the estimate reconciliation process with the project team.
Prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids etc. for projects.
Maintains consistent and period communications with other estimators.
Prepares and/or coordinates preparation of full project estimates.
BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or Estimating
Alternatively, a post-graduate degree in Construction Management including Cost Estimation or Cost Engineering
Interest in Sports and Sports Architecture or Construction
Able to be based in Kansas City area
Experience working with CAD software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam or similar
Skilled with Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software
