Job Description
Our Canadian business is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Process Manager - Water Management to drive delivery of water treatment and water management projects in the Mining and Industrial sectors. You will lead multidiscipline engineering teams for concept, prefeasibility, feasibility studies, detailed engineering design and construction phases. You will work in a hybrid team environment to deliver projects to our clients here in Canada and occasionally for international projects.
The Senior Process Manager - Water Management responsibility will encompass leadership and delivery of water treatment and water management (surface and underground) projects across Canada, and occasionally for international projects.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the management of multi-disciplined project teams, including a hybrid blend of in-person and remote team members, to deliver a variety of projects from small to complex; from concept studies to execution phase.
Supervise the production of technical documentation, drawings, reports, and other deliverables.
Proactively manage scope and change management according to company standards and project requirements.
Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual project delivery, technical and client challenges, determining technical objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects.
Ensure project work is undertaken is accordance with corporate health and safety policies and quality management systems.
Qualified to provide the Lead Verifier review function for water treatment process deliverables
Manage and monitor contractual obligations for engineering projects.
Work within a project team environment and possess good presentation and client interface skills.
Supervise discipline lead resources and/or assist in the preparation of deliverables and products such as presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
Write comprehensive study and engineering reports using sound engineering logic and with written expression in English that is cohesive, clear, and concise on subject matters varying from simple to very complex.
Stays abreast of industry standards and approaches and implements best practices.
Mentor junior staff and maintain a collaborative, learning environment within the project team or discipline.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering + 10 years’ experience (ideally with an engineering firm) in studies and engineering design of water treatment plants for mining and industrial infrastructure.
10 years experience in Project Manager or Process Lead roles (within an engineering design team) for multi-disciplined engineering studies and detailed designs
Preferred Qualifications :
Project Manager responsibility on at least three (3+) studies or projects with capital value +$50M
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in at least one Canadian province, or eligible to register within 6-12 months
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States an asset
Additional Information
Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $155,000.00 - $260,000.00.
