Job Description

As a result of several ongoing project wins across the region AECOM’s Mackay-based Civil Infrastructure (CI) / Industrial teams are looking for a passionate and highly driven Civil Engineer / Project Manager who is looking to further develop their career in leading, winning and delivering civil infrastructure/mining and multi-discipline projects.

Please note, relocation assistance is on offer for this role.

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Assist with delivering Civil Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time.

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of various projects including; light vehicle / heavy vehicle roads, water mains, mine-site water management, water modelling, drainage, levees, dams, pumping/piping infrastructure, structural integrity and construction quality assurance.

  • Contribute to the winning of projects across the region assisting with bids and tenders.

  • Use your technical experience and communication skills to mentor and guide junior engineers and continue your development as a future leader within the business.

  • 8+ years’ experience in a work winning / engineering delivery position.

Your ability to mentor others, deliver on promise and building / maintain strong client relationships will be key to your success in this role.

Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent);

  • 8+ years’ experience in a engineering delivery position.

  • Project management experience;

  • Business development experience (desirable);

  • RPEQ/CPEng (desirable).
