Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Site Architect to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and sustainable landscape designs that enhance the natural beauty of our projects while meeting the unique environmental challenges of the region.

  • Develop comprehensive landscape design concepts and plans for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and requirements are met

  • Create detailed site plans, planting plans, and construction documents using CAD software

  • Conduct site analyses and environmental impact assessments

  • Incorporate sustainable design practices and water conservation techniques into landscape plans

  • Manage projects from concept through completion, including budget oversight and timeline adherence

  • Present design concepts to clients and team members using visual aids and verbal presentations

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards

  • Supervise and coordinate with contractors during the implementation phase of projects

  • Stay current with industry trends, innovative materials, and new technologies in landscape architecture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution

  • Professional license or registration as a Landscape Architect

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on site design

  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SketchUp

  • Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, techniques, and best practices

  • Excellent drafting and visualization skills

  • Proven project management abilities, including budget and timeline management

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with sustainable design practices and water conservation techniques

  • Understanding of local flora, climate, and environmental conditions in Bahrain

  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern landscape design preferences and cultural considerations

  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
