Job Description
AECOM is seeking an SH&E Site Supervisor to support construction projects in Mexico.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
The SH&E Site Supervisor is a member of the project execution team who reports to the SH&E Manager and will be responsible for supporting the execution of the construction project.
Will support the delivery of the construction project within the program timelines within a set of clear performance indicators. This role will require significant interaction with the project team to maintain and contribute to 1 seamless communications and client confidence throughout the project delivery progress.
Will be responsible for contributing to high levels of compliance at project sites by providing clarification on intent and practical examples of implementation.
The SH&E Site Supervisor aims to increase employee awareness and knowledge of safety for life and the client's safety program.
Audit the project site to create awareness and sensitivity among project personnel about unsafe conditions and unsafe practices or behaviors.
Support the use of near-miss reports by contractors.
Assist with the permit-to-work process and ensure compliance with permit procedures.
Support the incident and accident investigation process by gathering factual evidence, photographs, witness statements, and other information useful for the Root Cause Analysis process.
Supports the development and delivery of SH&E guidance and training for projects managed by AECOM employees.
Help monitor contractor training programs to verify compliance with regulatory, AECOM, and Client requirements.
Assists the SH&E Manager, Project Managers, and Site Superintendents in the administration of the Site-Specific SH&E Plan and in the development of Site-Specific Risk Assessments.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferences
Experience in Safety, Health, and Environment (SH&E) on construction projects.
Expert knowledge of construction methods and practices.
Knowledge of the construction market.
Bilingual: Fluent Spanish and English (desired).
