Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Seller – Client Account Manager with expertise in environmental remediation and account management to support business growth and client engagement. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader with an existing book of clients, strong relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of environmental compliance and remediation strategies. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and delivering innovative environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand AECOM’s environmental remediation services.

  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the public and private sectors.

  • Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.

  • Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.

  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.

  • Provide industry insight and stay updated on environmental regulations, compliance standards, and emerging trends.

  • Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Business or other related fields AND 8+ years of experience in account management, sales, and environmental remediation services or a demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.

  • Successful candidate must pass a background and motor vehicle records check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, and environmental remediation services.

  • Proven ability to manage client accounts and drive business development initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance.

  • Established industry relationships with clients in government, energy, commercial, and industrial sectors.

  • Experience in contract negotiations, sales forecasting, and revenue management.

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization, coordinating across multiple teams and disciplines.

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics, and sales tracking platforms.

  • Experience leading large-scale environmental remediation projects.

  • Relationships with EPA, DOT, DOE, or other regulatory agencies.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., PE, PG, PMP) are a plus.

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $140,000.00 - $160,000.00.
