Job Description
AECOM Mississauga is recruiting a Chief Planner for their transit & rail team.
Responsibilities:
Team management: Lead a team of 3 to 4 resources and provide direction and mentorship as required.
Schedule Development Strategy: Establish the overall strategy and methodology for the progressive and collaborative development of project schedules (development and implementation), ensuring the approach is aligned with industry standards, organizational requirements, and best practices.
Oversee Schedule Development: Oversee and lead the joint schedule development process to develop an accurate schedule for project, ensuring schedules align with the scope, cost, and design
Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with the Project Co to ensure consistent quality and compliance throughout the joint schedule development process
Contract Management: Reviewing contracts, change orders, and submittals to ensure all schedule impacts align with project requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely design and construction teams, estimating and risk teams, independent value assessors and other critical stakeholders to ensure schedules accurately reflect the scope and complexities of the project
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 6 years of experience with at least 5 years’ experience in leading the integrated schedule development for a major capital construction project.
Significant Primavera P6 experience with proven experience developing P6 schedules for large transit rail systems.
Advanced knowledge of scheduling techniques, including Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), Resource Leveling,
Significant experience in cost loading and resource loading schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideally 15 years of experience with at least 5 years’ experience in leading the integrated schedule development for a major capital construction project.
Familiar with 4D and 5D scheduling
Familiar with TILOS.
Experience developing QSRA assessments in combination with the risk register.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $105,000.00 - $150,000.00.
