Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Information Technology Manager to join our team. This position is based out of Mississauga.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the alignment between the capital program and IT requirements, ensuring integration from a system, technology, and data standpoint.

  • Collaborates with the IT PMO on system/technology integration and interface management.

  • Engages with the IT PMO throughout the program’s design, construction, handover, and closeout stages.

  • Delivers coordinated reporting on IT needs and works jointly to address technical challenges and issues.

  • Provides subject matter expertise and guidance on technology selection, procurement, and implementation strategies.

  • Manages contractor queries, RFIs, and change proposals related to IT matters.

  • Coaches, mentors, and supports staff in their career development.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • University Degree in relevant field of study + 8 (eight) years of relevant experience in planning, design and/or management of complex technology projects employing variety of technologies, technology generations and integration platforms.

  • Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 10 - 15 (ten to fifteen) years of professional experience in planning, designing, and managing complex technology projects involving a wide range of technologies, technology generations, and integration platforms.

  • Experience in adhering to Enterprise Architecture practices within large-scale organizations with diverse business portfolios and multiple technology platforms.

  • Experience in drafting Solution Assessment Proposals, Statements of Work, and Solution Design documents at the project level.

  • Proven technical expertise in various Application Architecture components, including SOA, Web Services, ESB, REST, JSON, UML, XML, Java, J2EE, OPC UA, HTTP, IIoT, MQTT, and AMQP.

  • Extensive experience with OT technologies, industrial systems, and major construction projects is a strong advantage.

  • Prior experience and knowledge of the aviation industry are highly beneficial.

  • Experience in security architecture, design, and planning across diverse technology stacks is required.

  • Relocation is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $92,869.86 - $130,000.00.
