Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga . We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the submission of project schedules from contractors and consultants, conducting critical reviews to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and logical sequencing.

  • Assesses the schedule impact of proposed project or consultancy agreement changes in alignment with contract terms.

  • Identifies and addresses potential and actual scheduling conflicts at the project level, collaborating with project delivery teams for resolution.

  • Maintains client-level schedules and works closely with program schedulers to align and integrate schedule interfaces into the master program schedule.

  • Delivers schedule reporting and critical path analysis in accordance with program reporting requirements.

  • Ensures schedule quality assurance through peer reviews.

  • Supports the QSRA process, working collaboratively with the Risk Manager and Cost Manager to coordinate inputs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:

  • University Degree in engineering or relevant discipline + 6 years of experience in project scheduling.

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 with extensive hands-on experience.

  • Significant scheduling experience on large airport projects, relevant to the program scope.

  • Skilled in developing and implementing complex Work Breakdown Structures and integrating multiple schedules and work plans.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to lead scheduling workshops and planning sessions, including collaboration with contractors.

  • Experience working within a contracting organization is an asset.

  • Familiar with schedule quality assurance tools such as Acumen Fuse.

  • Experienced in conducting Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA).

Additional Information

This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $81,000.00 - $135,000.00.
