Job Description
AECOM is seeking Office Engineers to work on Highway Bridge related Construction Management Projects in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Provide document management and project controls support which includes the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects
Manage the set up and maintenance of document control / records management for projects and Project Managers
Ensure that all local practices and activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Under limited supervision, apply sound professional judgment and independent thought on details of work
May independently perform most assignments with minimal direction
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and processing of project-related documents, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules using appropriate software tools
Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes as required
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions
Collaborate with field engineers to ensure accurate and timely documentation of on-site activities
Assist in the development and implementation of project-specific document control procedures
Maintain and update project databases, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for team members
Support the preparation of monthly progress reports and other project documentation as needed
Assist in the coordination of project closeout activities, including the compilation and organization of final project documentation
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is required
Highway/Bridge Experience
NICET IV or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings
Software proficiency in Procore, SharePoint, MS Project
Microsoft Office, CEES and EBO software, as well as MURK, Federal Aid policies and procedures and the NYS LPM (formally PLAFAP) Manual

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $78,619.00 - $145,445.00.
