Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal/ Associate Director Structural Engineer specialising in Ports & Marines to join our team in Perth, Australia. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and excellence in marine infrastructure projects across the region.

  • Lead and oversee complex structural engineering projects for ports and marine facilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the structural engineering team

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers

  • Ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations and standards

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients

  • Manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives

  • Drive innovation in structural design methodologies for marine environments

  • Oversee quality control processes and implement best practices

  • Contribute to the company's thought leadership through publications and presentations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in structural engineering, with extensive experience in ports and marine projects

  • Recognised qualification (Associate Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Similar).

  • Proven project management and design experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

  • Track record of technical expertise delivering Ports and Marine projects.

  • Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices, particularly in marine environments

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
