Job Description

  1. Project Planning and Execution:

  2. Lead the planning and execution of mixed-use development projects from inception to completion.

  3. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company goals.

  4. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

  5. Team Leadership and Management:

  6. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, and support staff.

  7. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

  8. Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.

  9. Quality Control and Assurance:

  10. Implement quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  11. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

  12. Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain project quality and integrity.

  13. Cost Management and Budgeting:

  14. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying variances and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.

  15. Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.

  16. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and clients.

  17. Risk Management and Compliance:

  18. Identify potential risks and hazards associated with construction activities and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

  19. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

  20. Proactively address any legal or regulatory issues that may arise during the course of the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on mixed-use development projects.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus.
