Job Description

  • Conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions for large-scale landscape architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, environmental sustainability, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, urban planners, engineers, and environmental specialists to integrate landscape architecture seamlessly into overall project designs.

  • Lead the development of design presentations, and digital models, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

  • Conduct site analysis and research to understand environmental, cultural, and social factors that influence design decisions, and integrate findings into project designs.

  • Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Provide design expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept development through construction administration and project completion.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture, and integrate new ideas and methodologies into project designs.

  • Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on designing large-scale programs and projects.

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and GIS.

  • Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual presentations.

  • Knowledge of landscape architecture principles, theories, and practices, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in real-world projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong project management abilities, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.

  • Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Landscape Architect is preferred.
