Job Description
Conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions for large-scale landscape architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, environmental sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, urban planners, engineers, and environmental specialists to integrate landscape architecture seamlessly into overall project designs.
Lead the development of design presentations, and digital models, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
Conduct site analysis and research to understand environmental, cultural, and social factors that influence design decisions, and integrate findings into project designs.
Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide design expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept development through construction administration and project completion.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture, and integrate new ideas and methodologies into project designs.
Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on designing large-scale programs and projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and GIS.
Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual presentations.
Knowledge of landscape architecture principles, theories, and practices, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in real-world projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong project management abilities, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Landscape Architect is preferred.
