Job Description
The Office Engineer will report to the project’s Resident Engineer and must have an ability to communicate and collaborate with the project’s inspectors, client construction manager, client project manager, and Department of Transportation Construction, Transit Design, and their program management teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing all documents associated with the project’s activities
Uploading of documents to a SharePoint-based content management application
Managing the document control system and document revisions
Managing workflows and coordinating responses to contractor Requests for Change (RFC), Requests for Information (RFI), shop drawing submittals, and contractor work plans
Tracking project correspondence
Reviewing daily inspection reports
Preparing weekly and/or monthly project progress reports
Developing progress meeting agenda and compiling/distributing meeting minutes
Reviewing contractor Change Orders
Reviewing monthly contractor payment applications
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
HS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
NICET III certification or the ability to become NICET III certified.
Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management.
Displays knowledge and ability to apply business practices in carrying out a variety of assignments.
Produces regularly scheduled reports from multiple data sources.
Is able to analyze and present data for purpose of evaluation.
Demonstrates the ability to organize, process, and present information, requiring good communication skills.

Relocation is not available for this position.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $75.00/hour - $95.00/hour.
