Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Construction Engineer IV to be based in Sacramento, CA .

JOB SUMMARY:

The selected individual will assist with the development, recommendation, and implementation of polices in relation to civil engineering standards and technical requirements in coordination. The main tasks for this position are to support the technical review of the Quality Milestone Data Pack (QMDP) for project handover, construction Objective evidence, and As-built documentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical review of the Technical Contract Requirements (TCRs), Quality Milestone Data Pack (QMDP) for project handover, construction Objective Evidence, and As-built documentation

  • Coordination with Asset Management to provide technical oversight of Assets stored in Maximo to provide a level of technical verification that Asset Management is capturing all elements being constructed and included in as-builts

  • Support the review of Bridge Quality Assessment reports and provide recommendations of repair or improvements

  • Attend, schedule, and lead meetings on an as needed basis with various stakeholders

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Civil, track and system design and construction experience

  • Proficiency and knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Visio

  • Knowledge of and ability to apply engineering judgment in areas of design and construction engineering on transportation projects

  • Advanced Degree in engineering, construction management, or other closely related curriculum

  • Travel may be required for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $95,656.00 - $176,964.00.
