Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Document Controls Specialist to be located in Sacramento, CA.

The Document Controls Specialist is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project-related documentation to ensure it is accurate, up-to-date, easily accessible, and properly archived. This role involves implementing document control systems and procedures to handle the flow of documents across various departments and stakeholders. The Document Control Specialist ensures that all documents adhere to internal standards and industry regulations, supporting smooth project execution and compliance.

  • May take on several components of a project.

  • Provides direction for team members.

  • Troubleshoots problems of medium complexity and recommends appropriate action.

  • Project size could range from low to medium complexity.

  • Provides document management and project controls support which includes the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects.

  • Manages the set up and maintenance of document control / records management

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in organizational, personnel and document management

  • Proficiency in quick analysis and problem solving

  • Maintain organized records of document status through the various steps of completion

  • Relay and elevate issues in a timely manner to the project team for resolution

Additional Information

  • Relocation is not available for this role.

  • Occassional project site travel may be required.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00.
