AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to be based in Oakland, CA or San Francisco, CA.
This position is expected to begin in June 2021.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Learn Trane Trace for heat and cooling load calculations
Size HVAC equipment
Learn AutoCAD and Revit to draft/model mechanical and plumbing systems, details and diagrams
Learn EnergyPro to build an energy model for Title-24 compliance
Assist in formatting reports
Assist in deputy project management and administrative tasks on projects
Perform plumbing load calculations
Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Must have completed at least 2 years of study
Local candidates preferred
Experience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Remote work is available for this position
Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional
Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
