Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented Editor to support the Hong Kong Urbanism & Planning (U+P) Business Line. This role involves developing and managing thought leadership content, strategic communications, and marketing materials to enhance Hong Kong U+P business line industry influence and brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Write and edit articles, reports, and marketing materials that align with AECOM Hong Kong U+P business priorities.
Develop messaging for executive speeches, social media, industry interviews, advertisements, and award submissions.
Support content promotions across AECOM’s website, newsletters, and external platforms.
Assist with leadership awards, speaking engagements, and office events to strengthen market positioning.
Work with the MarComm team to engage with media outlets, reinforcing AECOM’s thought leadership in Hong Kong’s urban planning and design sectors.
Collaborate with Project Managers, studio leaders, and internal teams to develop high-quality marketing and communication materials.
Assist project teams in preparing proposals, marketing collateral, and project award entries.
Develop marketing analysis reports and present key insights to inform business strategy.
Ensure all communications adhere to AECOM’s brand voice and visual guidelines for consistency and professionalism.
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Language or related fields in urban planning, urban design or Landscape Architecture.
Minimum 5 years of experience in copywriting in an international corporate, marketing, communications, and or public relations agency.
Outstanding English and Chinese writing skills.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, WeChat, etc.).
Work experience in urban planning, urban design, landscape architecture firm preferred.
InDesign skills are an advantage.
Passion for writing and storytelling.
Strong project and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
