Job Description

Join our team as an Accountant specializing in Payroll, where you'll play a crucial role in managing payroll operations for a diverse workforce of over 4000 employees in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

  • Handling various components such as payroll execution, Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) contributions, and gratuity calculations, while addressing employee inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Collaborate on billing procedures to maintain consistent cash flow within the organization.

  • Work closely with the Human Resources team to guarantee data accuracy and seamless integration between payroll and HR systems.

  • To prepare cash flow forecasts and accruals related to payroll.

  • Provide support for annual payroll projects, such as managing backpay for Master Pay Scales and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including the filing of Employer's Returns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Human Resources or related discipline.

  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in payroll operation, preferably with experience in gratuity calculation.

  • Familiarity with the Government Master Pay Scale will be an advantage.

  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.

  • Strong numerical and detail-oriented skills.
